Im a small maker from belgium. I have been making suits since 2021, and officially since august 2023. You can find examples, info about commissions and more. I can also do touch-ups and repairs on plushies!

ATTENTION TO ALL (FUTURE) AMERICAN CLIENTS: Due to Trumps new import rules and taxes it has become very costly to send stuff to Amerika for both the commissioner and Apeworks. Sending costs are between 100 - 450 euros depending on size.There is an import tarif of 10-14,5% (depending on what is send) on the total customs value of your suit. This is the suit value + shipping costs.

Example: your suit costs 2000 dollars. Shipping is 300 dollars. Customs value is 2300 dollars. The tarif is calculated on this amount. So 14,5 % of 2300 dollars is 333,5 dollar import tarif for the commissioner. This is paid by the importer, so the client/commissioner, NOT Apeworks. Not because i don't want to, but because this is import law.

This is sad for both me and my dear american clients, who already need to cope with a lot of changes going on right now in America, and shows how much small non-american businesses are affected by these changes. I hope things will change again in the future. I adore my american clients and this is beyond your, and my power.
